Support Services Coordinator (SSC)

About the role

The Support Services Coordinator (SSC) will provide strategic leadership for the development, management and implementation of operational policies, procedures and tools at the Country Office in Kyiv. Reporting to the Country Director, the SSC ensures financial and human‑resource processes align with organisational standards and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual and periodic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Monitor grants, prepare donor proposals, budgets and reports, and maintain liaison with donors and partner organisations.
• Provide strategic financial counsel to the Country Director and senior management, delivering timely financial analysis and key performance indicators.
• Oversee the HR department’s development and adaptation of processes, templates and tools for daily operations.
• Participate in initiatives to harmonise HR practices and policies across the delegation.
• Formalise HR policies, guidelines, procedures and tools related to internal staff management.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree in finance, administration, human resources or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial management, budgeting and donor reporting within the humanitarian sector.
• Strong understanding of HR policy development and implementation.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
