Supply & Project Coordinator (Hardware)

About the role

Yalantis is seeking a German‑speaking Supply & Project Coordinator to support the development and manufacturing preparation of a hardware product. You will act as the operational bridge between engineering, project management, component suppliers, and the chosen EMS/assembly partner, ensuring all technical documentation and BOM data are ready for industrialisation.

Key responsibilities

• Track tasks, deadlines, dependencies and open points for the mechanical engineering workstream.
• Maintain action lists, decision logs, open‑point trackers and weekly status summaries.
• Coordinate the EMS handover package, including BOMs, drawings, Gerber/PCB files and assembly instructions.
• Review and keep eBOM and mBOM data consistent, documenting part numbers, MPNs, alternatives, lead times and revisions.
• Identify missing or inconsistent information across technical files and drive its completion.
• Contact component suppliers and alternatives, request quotations, datasheets, lead times, MOQ, NCNR conditions and availability.
• Prepare supplier comparison matrices covering pricing, lead times, technical fit and risks.
• Ensure all technical files, supplier information and document revisions remain structured, up‑to‑date and traceable.

Required profile

• Experience in technical project coordination, supply coordination or procurement within hardware or physical product development.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical product development, assemblies, BOMs, technical drawings and datasheets.
• Strong project‑management abilities to track multiple tasks, dependencies and stakeholders.
• Proven experience communicating directly with component suppliers for quotations and technical clarifications.
• High attention to detail when handling part numbers, document revisions and file versions.
• Fluent English (B2+) and German (B2+).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (trackers, comparison matrices, decision tables).
