Strategic Operations Coordinator – Kyiv

About the role

As the Strategic Operations Coordinator based in Kyiv, you will be the operational backbone for Alta Ares in Ukraine. You will ensure smooth coordination of field activities, manage local partner relationships, and act as the primary liaison between the Kyiv office and the headquarters in Paris.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day‑to‑day administrative tasks: document management, scheduling, logistics coordination, and reporting.
• Maintain organized records of operational activities, partner interactions, and field deployments.
• Support procurement, expense tracking, and local vendor relationships in coordination with Finance in Paris.
• Serve as the main communication link between Kyiv and Paris, translating context, coordinating calendars, calls, and follow‑ups.
• Assist onboarding of Ukraine‑based team members and ensure alignment with company‑wide processes.
• Coordinate meetings, briefings, and visits with Ukrainian defence partners, government contacts, and industry stakeholders.
• Organise field demonstrations, events, and media activities, ensuring all logistical and documentation needs are met.

Required profile

• High‑trust, high‑visibility professional with strong discretion and reliability.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast‑moving, mission‑driven environment.
• Fluent in English and Ukrainian, able to translate context and maintain clear communication across languages.
• Experience working with defence, government, or technology partners is a plus.
