Senior Sustainability Consultant

About the role

PwC Ukraine is expanding its sustainability services team and is looking for a Senior Sustainability Consultant to help clients integrate ESG principles into their operations and strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and enhancement of sustainability strategies, including ESG integration into business strategy and operations.
• Align sustainability and non‑financial reporting with ESRS and other relevant ESG standards and frameworks.
• Perform gap analyses, reviews, and audits related to environmental and sustainability topics.
• Independently deliver ESG‑related audits or projects and prepare clear, structured reports with findings and recommendations.
• Assist clients with sustainability, TCFD, carbon‑footprint reporting, and non‑financial data management.
• Develop learning materials, presentations, and workshops for clients and internal teams.
• Stay up to date with regulatory developments, ESG standards, and leading sustainability practices.
• Collaborate within international project teams across different countries.
• Guide and support Interns and Associates in their day‑to‑day project work.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent in environmental sciences or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sustainability reporting, carbon‑footprint calculations, net‑zero transition, or sustainable supply‑chain management.
• Familiarity with industry‑specific ESG challenges and opportunities.
• In‑depth knowledge of ESG frameworks and reporting standards such as CSRD, ESRS, GRI, TCFD, and ISSB.
• Upper‑Intermediate to Advanced English language skills.
• Strong abilities in data collection, analytics, modelling, and visualization.
• Proven independence in planning and executing projects from start to delivery.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
