Senior Quality Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Quality Engineer you will ensure the quality, reliability and security of software products for a global travel and tourism client. Working in a cross‑functional Agile team you will drive quality engineering practices throughout the development lifecycle, from design to deployment and operation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute and optimise automated tests across functional, integration, contract, performance and load testing.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to create high‑quality feature specifications.
• Act as the sole QA Engineer in the team, crafting meaningful test cases and automation for diverse testing types.
• Promote a quality‑first mindset, ensuring tests are reliable, reusable and aligned with product flow.
• Assist in developing test strategies, building test harnesses and tracking quality metrics.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
• Proven ability to build test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence).
• Upper‑intermediate spoken and written English.
