Senior Lawyer

About the role

MGID is seeking a Senior Lawyer to join its global Legal Department. The role will support strategic optimisation, transformation and governance initiatives across the MGID Group, acting as a senior legal partner on complex cross‑functional projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support legal workstreams within strategic optimisation and transformation projects.
• Provide legal input on contract‑management implementation, legal budgeting, corporate and tax optimisation, governance improvements and operational restructuring.
• Translate legal advice and external counsel recommendations into practical implementation steps and business‑facing action plans.
• Coordinate cross‑functional project work involving Legal, Finance, Tax, HR, Compliance, Data Protection, Operations and business teams.
• Design, improve and document internal legal processes, approval flows, authority frameworks, contract‑governance rules and internal controls.
• Develop and maintain internal legal policies, procedures, guidelines, templates and playbooks.
• Identify inefficiencies, documentation gaps and legal risks, proposing practical improvements.
• Support corporate structure optimisation, group governance, intercompany arrangements and tax/corporate restructuring, coordinating with external advisers.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a legal professional with strong expertise in corporate, tax and governance matters.
• Proven project‑management and process‑improvement skills.
• Business‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in an international environment.
• Excellent communication skills for translating legal concepts into actionable guidance.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of corporate law, tax law and contract governance.
• Ability to develop and maintain legal policies, procedures and templates.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and external legal advisers.
• Strong analytical skills for identifying legal risks and proposing improvements.
