Python Developer – AI Focus

About the role

WeSoftYou is seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to build scalable, AI‑powered backend solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain robust services that integrate Large Language Models and advanced retrieval systems. The role works closely with product managers, AI engineers, and frontend developers to deliver high‑performance applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs with Django REST Framework and FastAPI.
• Integrate and optimise AI services, including Large Language Models and third‑party model APIs.
• Develop Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, vector databases, embeddings and retrieval mechanisms.
• Implement AI orchestration workflows using LangChain and related frameworks.
• Integrate multiple external APIs and data providers into backend systems.
• Design reliable, maintainable, high‑performance system architectures.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews and architectural decisions.
• Ensure software quality through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system reliability.

Required profile

• 3+ years of commercial Python development experience.
• Proven experience with Django REST Framework and FastAPI.
• Hands‑on experience integrating AI solutions, including LLMs and model APIs.
• Strong knowledge of LangChain and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation architectures.
• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, semantic search and retrieval systems.
• Solid experience integrating third‑party APIs and external data sources.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and system design principles.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, DevOps practices, automated testing and monitoring.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher for daily communication.
