Project Manager – International Investment & Contract Controlling

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead investment controlling for wind and solar projects from financial close through construction and into operations. Based in Kyiv, you will work with a leading international renewable energy IPP, ensuring budgets, bank covenants, and financial reporting meet the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage investment controlling for wind and solar projects across all phases.
• Monitor budgets, prepare progress and financial reports for senior management.
• Lead centralised bank covenant management, maintaining and updating the covenant register.
• Ensure compliance with loan covenants, deadlines, disclosures and reporting obligations.
• Analyse financial indicators and project milestones to provide strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Legal, Project Management and external lenders.
• Support waivers, contract amendments, refinancing and restructuring activities.
• Develop processes, tools and dashboards while ensuring data quality and proper documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a comparable discipline.
• Several years of experience in Controlling, Covenant Management, Corporate Finance or Treasury.
• In‑depth knowledge of financing and loan agreements with ability to analyse complex legal and financial issues.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and an independent, structured work approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, assertive and proactive.
• Fluent in Ukrainian and English; German is a plus.
