Project Coordinator – Education (NFE)

About the role

The British Council is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the delivery of its Non‑Formal Education (NFE) portfolio in Ukraine, including the Youth Connect for Ukraine programme. You will ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and in line with organisational policies.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage project activities, vendor relationships and workload to meet deadlines.
• Oversee financial administration: budget planning, forecasting, record‑keeping, vendor payments and grant administration.
• Collect, analyse and report data for funders, ensuring data quality and compliance.
• Coordinate events, training sessions and procurement processes.
• Maintain effective stakeholder relationships and support the wider team delivering non‑formal education and cultural programmes.
• Promote Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) across all project activities.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
• C1 level of English.
• Experience supporting programmes or projects, including administrative and financial tasks.
• Understanding of monitoring and evaluation concepts.
• Experience in project and risk management.
