Programme Manager for Ukraine

About the role

The Programme Manager for Ukraine will join Kvinna Till Kvinna’s South Caucasus and Eastern Europe regional team, reporting to the Deputy Regional Director. Based in Lviv, the role involves close collaboration with regional programme and finance staff, partner organisations, and the Grants Management unit in Stockholm, with regular travel as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the strategic development and implementation of Kvinna Till Kvinna’s programmes in Ukraine.
• Coordinate activities with local civil‑society partners to strengthen feminist peacebuilding and human‑rights initiatives.
• Oversee grant management processes, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and internal policies.
• Prepare and deliver regular programme reports to regional and head‑office stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between the Ukraine team, regional offices, and external partners.
• Represent the organisation in meetings, workshops, and field visits across Ukraine and the South Caucasus.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a programme or project manager, preferably in the humanitarian or development sector.
• Strong background in working with civil‑society organisations and feminist peacebuilding initiatives.
• Familiarity with the Ukraine and South Caucasus context and related human‑rights issues.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to travel regularly and work effectively in a multicultural team.
