Product Engineer – Analog & Power ICs

About the role

Renesas Electronics is seeking a Product Engineer to support analog, mixed‑signal, and power semiconductor products from development through mass production. You will work closely with global engineering teams to analyse production data, resolve yield and quality issues, and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform product engineering activities for power and mixed‑signal ICs, from definition to mass production.
• Investigate yield, quality, and manufacturing issues and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports, data summaries, and define production test limits.
• Collaborate with Test Engineering, Design, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.
• Contribute to automation and data‑analysis improvements.

Required profile

• BSc degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands‑on experience with board‑level electronics (assembly, measurement, debug).
• Basic programming skills (Python, C#, VBA, R or similar).
• Willingness to develop statistical data‑analysis and semiconductor knowledge on the job.
• Intermediate English and a results‑driven mindset.

• Use of measurement instruments such as oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generator and power supply.

• Data‑visualisation tools (e.g., TIBCO Spotfire, Origin, Power BI).
