Operational Controller

About the role

The Operational Controller will support LDC Ukraine by maintaining reporting and budgeting processes, analysing margins and costs, and ensuring robust internal controls. You will work closely with local and regional finance, commercial, and audit teams to deliver accurate managerial reports.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve reporting and budgeting processes, including monthly, quarterly and annual managerial reports.
• Analyse margins, costs, headcount, CAPEX and monitor balance‑sheet and P&L dynamics (AR, AP, loan ageing, sales and production cost changes).
• Prepare presentations for group management, budget re‑forecasts and Board meetings.
• Ensure internal controls are in place, identify risk areas and recommend improvements.
• Control MTM calculations, weekly positions, FX positions and export contract pricing.
• Produce ad‑hoc reports as requested by management.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics or Mathematics.
• Professional certification such as IFRS, ACCA or CFA is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial analysis or managerial reporting.
• Experience in a Big 4 firm, production or agricultural sector is advantageous.
• Fluent English and strong understanding of IFRS and budgeting principles.
• Proactive, independent and able to work under tight deadlines.
