Oncology Clinical Research Lead

About the role

FutureMeds is expanding its oncology portfolio in Kyiv and seeks an Oncology Clinical Research Lead to own the day‑to‑day delivery of a portfolio of oncology studies. The role involves direct participation in study delivery, from protocol understanding to final close‑out, without initial line‑management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned oncology studies throughout their lifecycle, from site preparation and initiation to close‑out.
• Plan and prepare study visits, ensuring all documentation, materials and assessments are ready.
• Coordinate source documentation, data entry into electronic case report forms (eCRFs) and resolve queries.
• Communicate with monitors, prepare for monitoring visits and follow up on agreed actions.
• Organise prescreening and screening of potential participants.
• Oversee operational aspects of AE/SAE management, including investigator involvement, documentation, reporting and follow‑up.
• Identify risks early and propose practical solutions.

Required profile

• Experienced oncology study coordinators or CRAs; strong coordinators from other therapeutic areas and physicians with clinical research experience are also welcome.
• Ability to work independently with protocols and schedules, translate requirements into practical plans and carry operational tasks to completion.
• Proactive in raising issues and suggesting solutions.
• Fluent English for working with protocols, study systems and monitors.
• Willingness to work full‑time on‑site at the Kyiv site.
• Medical qualification is an advantage but not mandatory; physicians may take on sub‑investigator duties after training.
