Landside Operations Agent

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Landside Operations Agent to manage inland trucking and rail operations in Ukraine. The role focuses on ensuring growth, profitability, and high customer satisfaction through efficient transport planning and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily inland trucking and rail operations to/from Ukraine.
• Optimize transport routes for timely and cost‑effective delivery.
• Supervise end‑to‑end freight order management from booking to dispatch.
• Monitor shipment status, provide updates, and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records and analyze data for continuous improvement.
• Communicate shipment status and disruptions to customers.
• Manage vendor performance and stakeholder relationships.
• Handle escalations and complaints during transportation.

Required profile

• University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in inland transportation or logistics operations.
• Strong knowledge of transport planning, freight order management and multi‑modal vendor coordination.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and customer‑focused mindset.
• Intermediate written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office programs.
