Junior Development & Data Analytics Specialist

About the role

Nestlé Business Solutions (NBS) is looking for a Junior Development & Data Analytics Specialist to join its Development & Data Analytics team in Lviv. You will help create and maintain Power BI dashboards, support data extraction and automation, and act as a data‑analytics expert for internal partners.

Key responsibilities

• Create Power BI dashboards using DAX, Power Query and data models.
• Maintain existing dashboards and analytical reports to ensure data integrity.
• Write and optimise SQL/Snowflake queries for data extraction and reporting.
• Support citizen development of Python‑based automation scripts and data pipelines.
• Automate simple business reporting processes with KNIME or Power Automate.
• Track tasks and update request statuses in Jira.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and NBS departments to gather project data.
• Provide analytics expertise during meetings and liaise with database owners to resolve issues.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics or Business.
• At least 1 year of analytical, BI development or data‑related experience (internship or academic project accepted).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Intermediate to upper‑intermediate English for communication with international stakeholders.

Required skills

• Power BI and Power Query (basic DAX and SQL).
• SQL/Snowflake query writing.
• Excel with VBA (preferred).
• Python scripting for data manipulation (pandas, openpyxl).
• KNIME or Power Automate.
• Jira for task management.
