IT Lawyer

About the role

S-PRO is seeking an IT Lawyer to join its legal team, focusing on European and international IT contracts and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate IT contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, with emphasis on European and international jurisdictions.
• Handle claim cases, disputes, and legal issues arising from contractual relationships.
• Provide legal support on regulatory compliance related to data privacy, IP, and software licensing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (C‑level, HR, Sales) to ensure legal compliance within business processes.
• Establish and maintain efficient contract management processes, including risk assessment and mitigation.
• Stay up‑to‑date with European IT and data privacy laws.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law.
• 1‑3 years of experience as a lawyer with a background in IT law and dispute handling.
• Proven experience in European contract law and familiarity with EU regulatory landscape.
• Excellent negotiation and drafting skills for complex IT agreements.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities in managing legal disputes or claims.
• Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
• Ability to work efficiently in a remote, fast‑paced IT environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of European IT contract law.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Familiarity with intellectual property and software licensing.
