Intermediate Back-End Developer (All Genders)

About the role

As an Intermediate Back-End Developer at eduki, you will strengthen our development teams and help deliver a platform that empowers teachers worldwide. You will work remotely from Ukraine, collaborating with an international, diverse team to build and maintain PHP‑based microservices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PHP microservices, implementing new features within existing patterns.
• Configure and integrate microservices into the current infrastructure, receiving guidance from senior engineers for complex tasks.
• Participate in architecture discussions, sharing ideas and asking questions to improve the system.

Required profile

• Experience working with microservices, primarily maintaining existing services.
• Proficiency with PHP 8+, Docker, and SQL; familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
• Fluent English communication skills for an international team.
