HR Coordinator – Dnipro, Ukraine

About the role

The HR Coordinator will support the Area Office in Dnipro by ensuring compliance with NRC policies, donor requirements and Ukrainian labour law. The role involves managing HR and administrative processes, supporting staff throughout their employment cycle, and promoting a safe and inclusive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to NRC policies, handbooks, guidelines and national labour law at the Area Office level.
• Develop and maintain area‑specific HR and administration guiding documents in line with NRC Ukraine policies.
• Oversee filing, record‑keeping and reporting for HR and admin documents, both digital and hard copy.
• Manage staff benefits, onboarding, inductions, performance management and exit procedures.
• Coordinate recruitment processes, track capacity‑development needs and organise training for AO staff.
• Provide advice to line managers on HR queries, support disciplinary actions, conflict management and investigations.
• Promote PSEA standards and ensure compliance with donor and organisational requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum three years of experience in a humanitarian organization, preferably in a similar HR role.
• Demonstrated experience managing a team and working in complex, volatile contexts.
• Fluency in English and Ukrainian.
• Strong strategic thinking, resource optimisation, and ability to influence and drive change.
