Head of International Logistics

About the role

Nova Post Europe is expanding its cross‑border transportation network across Ukraine and the EU. We are seeking a Head of International Logistics to lead the design, optimisation and daily operation of this network, ensuring fast, reliable service while controlling costs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimise international routes between Ukraine and European countries.
• Oversee local transportation schedules, vehicle capacity, crew assignments and route connections.
• Maintain uninterrupted operations, quickly resolving delays, breakdowns, border issues and other incidents.
• Negotiate tariffs, manage carrier contracts and monitor service quality.
• Ensure accuracy of delivery planning models, routes and system settings.
• Control the logistics budget and drive cost‑optimisation initiatives.
• Analyse delivery speed, route efficiency, vehicle utilisation and operational deviations.
• Lead a logistics team of roughly 10 employees across Ukraine and Europe.
• Collaborate with country CEOs, operations, finance, customs, terminals and other internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in international logistics, including team management.
• Proven track record building or optimising international routes and line‑haul networks.
• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, border operations and transport regulations in Ukraine and the EU.
• Experience managing logistics budgets, carrier contracts and transportation costs.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to balance speed, quality and cost.
• Fluent English (B2 level or higher) and proactive, decisive attitude in critical situations.
