Finance Officer

About the role

The Finance Officer will implement NRC financial systems and provide administrative support to project staff in North-East Ukraine.

Key responsibilities

• Verify vouchers and supporting documents, process payments to suppliers, contractors and contingent workers.
• Disburse per diem to NRC North-East employees in line with Ukrainian legislation and NRC policies.
• Book all costs timely in Agresso and manage transaction numbering and document labeling.
• Track advances, perform bank and cashbox reconciliations, and assist with internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with program departments on cash and voucher programmes and resolve payment queries with financial institutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• 2-3 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in an NGO or humanitarian organization.
• Strong knowledge of financial procedures, internal controls, donor compliance and reporting standards.
• Ability to work accurately under deadlines, prioritize tasks and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Proficiency in English and Ukrainian.
