Driver – Logistics Support in Shostka, Ukraine

About the role

The NRC office in Shostka needs a reliable driver to support its growing humanitarian and recovery programmes. The driver will ensure safe, timely transport of staff, visitors, documents and goods while maintaining the vehicle in good condition.

Key responsibilities

• Transport NRC personnel, visitors, documents and materials to approved destinations.
• Maintain vehicle safety, cleanliness, fuel level and perform routine technical checks.
• Keep accurate vehicle logbooks and trip documentation.
• Report accidents, breakdowns or maintenance needs immediately.
• Provide logistical support for trainings, workshops and field missions, including loading and unloading assistance.
• Assist programme teams with the delivery of humanitarian assistance during field operations.
• Offer basic clerical and administrative support to operational and programme activities when required.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence.
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in humanitarian or emergency contexts.
• Ability to work in complex and volatile environments.
• Flexibility to work overtime or irregular hours as operational needs dictate.
