Dev & Data Analytics Specialist

About the role

Join Nestlé Business Solutions’ Development & Data Analytics team as a Dev & Data Analytics Specialist. The role is hybrid for candidates in the Lviv region and fully remote for other locations in Ukraine, focusing on building and maintaining advanced analytics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build complex Power BI reports and dashboards using advanced DAX, Power Query, composite models and Row‑Level Security.
• Maintain Snowflake dashboards and reports to ensure data integrity.
• Write, optimise and maintain SQL/Snowflake queries and data models for production reporting.
• Design automated workflows with Power Automate or KNIME to replace manual processes.
• Develop Python scripts for data extraction, transformation and automation tasks.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis on data‑quality issues and implement fixes independently.
• Manage the Jira board for personal and team tasks and handle ad‑hoc requests.
• Communicate with stakeholders and NBS departments to gather project data and provide data‑management expertise.

Required profile

• University degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics or Business.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in BI development, data analytics or a related technical role.
• Fluent English (intermediate + / upper‑intermediate) for stakeholder discussions and documentation.
• Strong analytical thinking with high attention to detail and data‑quality assurance.

Required skills

• Power BI (advanced) – end‑to‑end dashboard development, DAX, Power Query, composite models and RLS.
• SQL (advanced) – writing, optimising and troubleshooting complex queries.
• Snowflake – data‑modeling and query execution.
• Excel (expert) – advanced formulas, data modelling, Power Query; VBA is a strong advantage.
• Power Automate or KNIME – designing and deploying automated workflows (nice‑to‑have).
• Python (intermediate) – scripting for data manipulation and automation (e.g., pandas, openpyxl, requests).
