Business Development Manager – Project Freight Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager / Project Freight Specialist to lead the expansion of our client’s heavy‑haul and project cargo services in Ukraine. The role involves building strong relationships with industrial customers, freight forwarders and logistics partners while representing the company on the local market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new industrial clients needing oversized and heavy transport solutions.
• Develop and maintain long‑term partnerships with freight forwarders, ports, transport operators and project‑cargo specialists.
• Promote the company’s heavy‑haul capabilities and negotiate commercial contracts in the Ukrainian market.
• Collaborate with transport operations and drivers to ensure successful execution of project cargo deliveries.
• Support the overall business expansion strategy by reporting market insights to senior management.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in the transport or logistics industry.
• In‑depth knowledge of the Ukrainian logistics and forwarding market.
• Proven track record in business development and transport management.
• Fluent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
