Business Development Manager – AI Products & Solutions

About the role

Sigma Software is expanding its AI division and seeks a Business Development Manager to drive growth of AI‑powered platforms, intelligent automation, and machine‑learning applications. You will identify new market opportunities, build relationships with prospective clients, and guide them through the full sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Target and acquire new customers for AI‑driven solutions and services.
• Lead the sales process: deliver presentations, develop proposals, and manage negotiations.
• Align company offerings with client expectations and constraints.
• Prepare case studies, contracts, work orders, and other sales collateral.
• Ensure smooth hand‑over of new accounts to the Delivery team.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and meet profitability KPIs.
• Expand a professional network relevant to AI services and monitor market events.

Required profile

• Higher education degree.
• 3+ years of business development or sales experience in IT/software, with a proven record on AI projects.
• Successful delivery of complex AI proposals and formal tenders.
• Advanced written and spoken English and German.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of software development processes and AI solution lifecycles.
• Experience preparing proposals and presentation materials for AI solutions.
