About the role
The Area Coordinator will be based in Sumy, Ukraine, starting in August 2026. This position is with People in Need (PIN), a leading humanitarian organization operating in Ukraine since 2014. The role begins with a four‑month probation period and may be extended upon successful completion.
Key responsibilities
- Support the implementation of humanitarian programmes in the assigned area, including food, cash, shelter, protection, livelihoods and WASH assistance.
- Coordinate activities with PIN teams and local partners.
- Monitor the delivery of assistance and ensure compliance with PIN standards.
- Contribute to reporting on programme activities.
Required profile
- Ukrainian national (nationals only).
- Experience in humanitarian contexts is desirable.
