Accounting Specialist

About the role

The Accounting Specialist will ensure the accuracy and consistency of the company's financial records, supporting management with reliable data for planning and decision‑making. You will work with US GAAP, IFRS and local Ukrainian accounting standards in a dynamic, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile accounting entries, cost‑of‑sales, inventory and fixed‑asset balances.
• Analyze CAPEX entries, oversee asset capitalization and depreciation, and prepare internal CAPEX reports.
• Provide accounting consultancy to business units and participate in finance‑related projects.
• Support yearly IFRS audit activities and prepare required calculations and documentation.
• Produce regular and ad‑hoc financial and statistical reports in line with accounting standards and company schedules.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Audit, Economics or Finance.
• 2–3 years of accounting/finance experience in an international or reputable local company.
• Knowledge of Ukrainian accounting legislation and IFRS principles.
• Upper‑intermediate English and fluent Ukrainian.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA or DipIFR are a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with SAP (preferred).
