UAV Engineer

About the role

Intel​ic is looking for a UAV Engineer to bridge software and drone hardware, ensuring the Nexus platform runs reliably on partner UAVs in real‑world defense operations.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate Nexus with partner UAV platforms, mapping drone capabilities to software requirements.
• Debug data from flight controllers and payloads, configure PX4 or ArduPilot systems, and tune flight parameters in the field.
• Set up GPS modules, cameras, companion computers, telemetry and video links alongside hardware engineers.
• Conduct ground and flight tests of new software releases, record results and document issues.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of drone systems and basics of PX4 or ArduPilot.
• Technical, maths or software engineering background with experience writing code (e.g., Python, C).
• Ability to diagnose problems step‑by‑step using logs and data.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel for field work in Ukraine.
• Ukrainian citizenship or legal right to work in Ukraine.
