Software Integration Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Software Integration Engineer to join our Integrations team. You will design, build, and scale mission‑critical back‑end solutions that connect our public‑safety platform with third‑party tools such as 911 call centers, state databases, and external agency systems.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrations between the platform and external client systems.
• Develop integration workflows using Java, Spring Boot, and modern integration platforms.
• Enhance Records Management, Computer‑Aided Dispatch, and Booking products with scalable integration capabilities.
• Design secure, reusable, cloud‑based integration solutions.
• Write automated tests, debug production issues, and improve system reliability.
• Contribute to technical documentation and automated build/deployment pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews and follow a pull‑request development process.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and cross‑functional partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency with Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs.
• Solid SQL knowledge and familiarity with relational databases.
• Experience with automated testing and Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, well‑documented code.
• Upper‑intermediate English communication skills.
