SAFE-PATH Senior Consortium Manager

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a senior professional to lead the SAFE-PATH consortium that implements integrated protection and shelter interventions in Donetsk and Kharkiv Oblasts. The role provides strategic leadership, coordination, and oversight of a multi‑partner consortium across the full evacuation cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational coordination to ensure harmonised methodologies and partner‑led decision‑making.
• Maintain oversight of operational, financial, compliance and programme aspects, escalating issues as needed.
• Facilitate regular consortium meetings, ensure effective communication, and address implementation gaps.
• Lead consortium‑wide project oversight, track progress against targets, budget utilisation and risk management.
• Liaise with the Grants focal point to organise Project Cycle Management meetings and set agendas.
• Develop and maintain a consortium dashboard to monitor progress, risks and actions.
• Ensure alignment with IRC programme objectives, donor requirements and protection standards while promoting localisation and partner‑led implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in humanitarian protection, shelter or related sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑partner consortia and manage complex programmes.
• Strong understanding of donor expectations, partnership principles and localisation approaches.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem‑solving skills.
