Robotics Architect

About the role

You will join a long‑term initiative with a globally recognised industry leader, focusing on physical AI and multi‑fleet management for outdoor vehicles. This position sits at the intersection of robotics, AI and real‑world hardware, delivering solutions that move beyond simulation into production equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the technical architecture for complex robotics solutions across mobile robots, arms, drones and AMRs.
• Design scalable integration frameworks linking robotics systems to cloud platforms and enterprise ecosystems.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery from prototyping and PoCs to production‑ready systems.
• Establish architectural standards, design patterns and best practices across robotics teams.
• Evaluate, select and evolve technologies, tools and platforms within the robotics stack.
• Drive research on emerging robotics trends and translate insights into practical decisions.
• Oversee simulation and validation using tools such as Isaac Sim, Gazebo or similar.
• Collaborate with AI, cloud, embedded and product teams and engage with clients in workshops and pre‑sales presentations.

Required profile

• Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in robotics system architecture and end‑to‑end solution design.
• Strong analytical and systems‑thinking mindset with solid mathematical foundations.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience in technical pre‑sales, solution design and client workshops.
