Patient Care Specialist – Kyiv

About the role

The Patient Care role is essential for supporting and managing Patient Support Programs, ensuring patients receive timely, compassionate, and professional assistance throughout their treatment journey. Acting as a trusted advocate, the role removes barriers to care and expands access strategies globally.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the line manager and program team in effectively managing Patient Support Programs and liaising with key stakeholders.
• Ensure timely enrolment of eligible patients according to workflow and program timelines.
• Educate and coordinate with patients to facilitate seamless enrolment aligned with program procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient files and prepare them for timely submission.
• Accompany team members on visits to healthcare providers, pharmacies, or patient support sites.
• Ensure patients receive their medications efficiently and without delay.
• Prepare regular reports on program performance, including patient numbers and quality metrics.
• Maintain and update electronic records related to patient data and quality assurance.
• Participate in required training, including product training and pharmacovigilance.
• Report adverse events or product complaints in line with client requirements and Axios SOPs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or healthcare‑related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in a pharmaceutical or hospital patient‑care setting.
• Based in Kyiv and fluent in English and the local language.
• Willingness to travel frequently to clients and partners, sometimes outside the designated region.
• Ability to work full‑time (Monday‑Friday) in the regional office.
