Maintenance Worker

About the role

The Maintenance Worker will ensure that office premises, furniture, equipment and surrounding areas remain in good technical condition. You will carry out routine repairs, minor installations and support a safe, functional, and comfortable working environment for staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, install, dismantle and repair office furniture, fittings and interior elements.
• Move furniture, equipment and other assets as required.
• Perform minor cosmetic repairs to walls, doors, windows, locks and door closers.
• Conduct routine inspections of furniture, plumbing, appliances and premises; arrange specialised repairs when needed.
• Carry out basic plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, replacing faucets and clearing simple blockages.
• Execute basic electrical maintenance within authorisation, including replacing bulbs, sockets, switches and light fixtures.
• Assist with general cleaning, relocation of heavy items and upkeep of surrounding grounds and entrance areas.
• Maintain basic heating‑system components and monitor inventory of maintenance supplies.

Required profile

• Vocational education or completed training in a relevant technical field.
• At least one year of experience in general maintenance and repair work.
• Practical experience using hand and power tools.
• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to organise work independently and respond efficiently to maintenance issues.
• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
