Junior QC Specialist (PC Requirements Team)

About the role

Ubisoft’s PC Requirements team is looking for a Junior QC Specialist to test PC‑specific features, installation flows and performance across Ubisoft titles. You will work with top‑end hardware and collaborate closely with production teams and hardware partners such as AMD, Nvidia and Intel.

Key responsibilities

• Perform PC compliance tests on multiple clients (Ubisoft Connect, Steam) across various OS versions and localisations.
• Execute compatibility and performance tests using dedicated tools on diverse hardware configurations and analyse results.
• Build, modify and troubleshoot PC workstations to meet project needs.
• Support production teams by testing graphic options, peripheral support and exotic hardware features.
• Investigate, reproduce, report and track PCR issues, providing work‑arounds where possible.
• Manage test projects, plan and coordinate activities, raise risks and ensure test coverage.
• Collaborate with production, QC and other stakeholders, delivering status feedback and documentation.
• Create reports and documentation required for project deliverables.

Required profile

• Upper‑intermediate English (spoken and written).
• Good knowledge of testing principles and the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Familiarity with bug‑tracking and test‑management tools (Jira, Jira X‑Ray, TestRail).
• Understanding of the bug life‑cycle.
• Extensive knowledge of PC hardware, software and specific PC features.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, multitask and handle challenging situations.
