Investment Analyst – Renewable Energy

About the role

We are looking for an Investment Analyst to join a leading Ukrainian renewable energy company. The role focuses on financial modelling of wind, solar and battery storage assets and commercial analysis of power market opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated corporate and project finance models for investors and financial institutions.
• Build financial models for expansion projects and new renewable‑energy products.
• Conduct pre‑investment and post‑investment analysis of existing and new projects.
• Research new technologies and commercial products as part of the Business Development team.
• Analyze recent energy market changes and simulate their impact on project economics.
• Participate in design and development of new wind, BESS projects and commercial products such as cPPAs and hedging.

Required profile

• 3‑5+ years of experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, project finance, M&A or renewable‑energy development.
• Advanced financial‑modeling skills in Excel, able to build models from scratch.
• Strong understanding of valuation methods including DCF, NPV, IRR, sensitivity and scenario analysis.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities to assess market and commercial impacts.
• Professional English proficiency for preparing investment materials and communicating with international stakeholders.
