Information Management Associate (NPSA‑7) – Home‑based

About the role

The Information Management (IM) Associate will support the Area‑Based Recovery (ABR) team in Ukraine, ensuring high‑quality data management, monitoring, reporting and visualisation throughout project implementation. The position is home‑based and open to Ukrainian nationals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to reporting systems (ABR Activity Monitoring System, IMRP), guide colleagues on data entry, monitor submissions and conduct data quality checks.
• Generate and update indicator tables, charts, maps and dashboards for planning, monitoring and ad‑hoc requests.
• Develop and maintain digital data collection tools and ensure compliance with UNDP quality standards.
• Administer databases – backup, security, archiving and routine maintenance.
• Participate in research, data analysis and evidence generation to inform programme planning and policy.
• Maintain the secondary data repository on SharePoint and document lessons learned.
• Provide capacity‑building support to UNDP ABR staff and local authorities on data processes and visualisation.

Required skills

• Experience with UNDP reporting tools such as ABR Activity Monitoring System and IMRP.
• Database administration and data security practices.
• Data visualisation using charts, pivot tables and maps.
• Proficiency with SharePoint for knowledge management.
• Development and implementation of digital data‑collection tools (online/offline).
