HR Service Manager – Ukraine (Ukrainian Labor Law)

About the role

Safeguard Global is looking for an HR Service Manager focused on Ukrainian labor law. You will act as the main HR point of contact for workers, clients and in‑country partners, delivering compliant HR Business Partnering support across a diverse portfolio of global and embedded clients.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR contact for GEO workers and client representatives in Ukraine.
• Provide end‑to‑end employee lifecycle support, including onboarding, employee relations, performance management, promotions, career development and off‑boarding.
• Prepare and manage employment contracts, confirmations, title or salary changes, probation extensions and renewals, monitoring key dates.
• Advise clients on compensation benchmarking, benefits eligibility, statutory and supplemental benefits, and related communications.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with Ukrainian labor legislation, GDPR and internal controls.
• Deliver HR and benefits briefings aligned with local statutory requirements and defined policies.
• Support embedded service delivery models while adhering to defined SLAs, workflows and communication protocols.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of Ukrainian labor law and GDPR requirements.
• Proven experience in HR Business Partnering or similar HR service roles.
• Ability to manage complex HR initiatives in a fast‑paced, global environment.
• Consultative mindset with proactive, solution‑oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with workers, clients and internal partners.

Required skills

• Experience managing the full employee lifecycle.
• Knowledge of employment contract administration and key date monitoring.
• Ability to provide statutory and supplemental benefits guidance.
• Strong compliance and risk‑mitigation capabilities.
