Head of Business Controlling

About the role

We are a leading Ukrainian telecommunications group, providing mobile, fixed‑line, internet, TV and digital services to millions. We are seeking a Head of Business Controlling to lead our Business Controlling and Financial Planning function, driving digitalisation, transformation and strategic evolution across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full FP&A cycle, including business planning, performance analysis and management reporting for senior leadership and shareholders.
• Manage working capital, free cash flow and ROIC initiatives, developing value‑creation projects and KPIs.
• Partner with commercial teams to analyse revenue, profitability, marketing efficiency and support investment decisions.
• Partner with operations (technical, procurement, supply chain) to forecast and control operating costs, optimise inventory and accounts payable, and justify CAPEX projects.
• Establish a unified controlling framework, financial models, KPIs and best practices across the group.
• Lead, mentor and develop high‑performing FP&A, commercial and operational controlling teams.

Required profile

• 6–10 years progressive finance experience, with 3–5 years in FP&A, controlling or finance business partnering leadership.
• Proven track record of building or transforming finance functions and systems in a complex corporate environment.
• Strong analytical mindset, ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives.
