Grants & Compliance Manager

About the role

STEP‑IN is seeking a Grants & Compliance Manager to lead donor‑side activities for its humanitarian healthcare projects in Ukraine. The role blends office‑based grant administration with regular field visits, ensuring projects stay audit‑ready and donor requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for donors and consortium partners.
• Review agreements, prepare donor reports, and track compliance deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal departments to align project deliverables with donor expectations.
• Visit field teams, meet partners, and verify on‑the‑ground implementation.
• Maintain documentation and audit trails to keep projects ready for external reviews.

Required profile

• Experience in grants management, donor relations, or compliance within humanitarian or healthcare settings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight reporting schedules.
• Comfortable navigating both office environments and field locations.
