Engineering Manager – MarTech

About the role

Preply is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the MarTech team that builds tools for automated campaigns, content creation at scale, and performance measurement across paid marketing, SEO and AI search.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high‑performing engineering team, fostering ownership, collaboration and technical excellence.
• Set vision and strategy for how technology, data and AI support marketing acquisition and measurement.
• Partner with Product, Marketing and Data to identify high‑impact opportunities and translate them into realistic delivery plans.
• Provide technical leadership on system design, architecture and trade‑off decisions.
• Champion best practices in code quality, reliability, observability, security and development processes.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience leading engineering teams and delivering business‑critical platforms.
• Experience in MarTech, AdTech, growth, tracking/attribution, paid marketing or SEO platforms, or building data‑intensive systems.
• Strong people leadership, mentorship and career‑development skills.
• Excellent technical judgment, systems thinking and ability to make clear decisions.
• Proven ability to work closely with product, marketing and data stakeholders to drive measurable outcomes.
