DevOps Engineer – Middle/Senior (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a middle to senior level DevOps Engineer to join Tieto Tech Consulting’s team supporting a multinational telecommunications client. You will work on a centralized checksum‑based artifact repository built on JFrog Artifactory & Xray, ensuring platform stability, automation and operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the JFrog‑based artifact repository service across multiple production environments.
• Automate deployment, upgrades and infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Docker, Ansible, Jenkins and Gradle.
• Monitor services, resolve incidents and provide operational support to users.
• Develop and maintain custom plugins and integrations for the repository platform.
• Collaborate within a DevSecOps Agile team using Java/Spring Boot, TypeScript and related technologies.

Required profile

• Strong Linux background with shell scripting experience.
• Proficiency in software package management (rpm, war, Docker, Helm, npm, etc.).
• Ability to read, troubleshoot and debug Java applications and JVM issues.
• Experience with automation/scripting languages such as Python, Shell or Groovy.
• Familiarity with servlet containers (Tomcat) and web services (REST/SOAP).
