DevOps Engineer – FinTech (Hybrid, Kyiv)

About the role

Brainstack is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its FinTech division. You will help build, maintain, and scale critical payment services while working closely with development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support and evolve the FinTech infrastructure and high‑availability payment services.
• Automate infrastructure processes and explore AI‑driven efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with PCI DSS security standards.
• Develop monitoring systems, analyse incidents, and improve service stability.
• Provide configuration management for new and existing services.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Linux System Administrator, or SRE in production.
• Strong Linux knowledge and solid understanding of networking (OSI model).
• Experience with containerisation and virtualization (Docker, LXC, KVM/QEMU).
• Hands‑on work with MySQL/Percona, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, including performance tuning and HA.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure).
