Data Engineer (Mental Health)

About the role

Brainstack is seeking a Data Engineer to join its Data Engineering team, focusing on mental health and wellness products. You will support a service‑wide data department that serves all company products and help evolve it into a full‑featured platform‑as‑a‑service offering.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor existing data pipelines.
• Enhance and scale the current data infrastructure.
• Integrate new data sources, including REST APIs and marketing feeds.
• Contribute to the development of the platform‑as‑a‑service product.
• Collaborate with internal data users to design efficient solutions.

Required profile

• 1.5–2 years of commercial experience in Data Engineering or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands‑on experience with Apache Spark for data processing.
• Experience using Apache Airflow for pipeline orchestration.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Comfortable working with Git and version‑control systems.
• Clear communication skills and emotional stability.
