Backend Engineer

About the role

AppsFlyer is looking for a Backend Engineer to own and evolve its Data Warehouse and business service layer. You will work with petabytes of data, building scalable APIs and improving performance for top‑tier customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own and develop AppsFlyer’s Data Warehouse and related products end‑to‑end.
• Design, implement and maintain APIs and data pipelines handling petabyte‑scale workloads.
• Analyze and improve performance, scalability and stability of services and tools.
• Collaborate with product managers, platform teams and other engineers to deliver customer value.

Required profile

• 3+ years of software development experience with a passion for excellence.
• Hands‑on experience with production systems and building server‑client APIs.
• Strong SQL knowledge and ability to learn new languages and frameworks quickly.
• Good communication skills in spoken and written English.
