Android Framework Architect (m/f/d)

About the role

Join Tieto Tech Consulting as an Android Framework Architect and help shape cutting‑edge e‑Cockpit solutions for a leading automotive Tier‑1 client. You will work with state‑of‑the‑art software and hardware, collaborating across time zones, especially with teams on the US East Coast.

Key responsibilities

• Design optimal platform architecture for customer products.
• Collaborate with the Platform Architecture team to evaluate and drive the best solutions.
• Develop Android‑based e‑Cockpit solutions and address architecture topics across the Android platform.
• Communicate technical decisions with internal stakeholders and the architect team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Android Framework architecture.
• Strong understanding of subsystems such as Audio, Camera, Display and the full Android stack.
• Experience with hypervisor‑based multi‑VM solutions and Linux kernel debugging.
• Hands‑on development in Android native services or Linux user space.
• Fluent English and willingness to work across US East Coast time zones.
