Accountant – Polish Entity

About the role

Nova Global is building a global digital delivery service and needs an accountant to manage the accounting of its Polish legal entity. You will work closely with the Deputy CFO, Polish tax and accounting advisors, and help shape the financial function of the Polish business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle accounting and tax records for the Polish entity, including processing primary documents, income, expenses and settlements.
• Monitor accounts receivable/payable, banking operations and payment controls.
• Prepare and file tax reports (VAT and other taxes) in line with Polish legislation.
• Participate in monthly and annual closings, produce financial statements and IFRS adjustments.
• Collaborate with external advisors, auditors, banks and other partners, reviewing recommendations and implementing them.
• Support the development of internal procedures, control mechanisms and a dedicated accounting team for Poland.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, tax accounting and Polish legislation (advantageous).
• Professional proficiency in Polish for document handling and communication with advisors.
• Familiarity with IFRS and experience with accounting/ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel to Poland periodically.

• Knowledge of IFRS reporting standards.
