3D Graphics Engineer / Rendering Programmer

About the role

Ubisoft is looking for a 3D Graphics Engineer to advance the rendering technology behind its flagship titles. You will work on the core graphics pipeline of Ubisoft's proprietary engine, collaborating with international studios and hardware partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, upgrade and maintain runtime rendering and graphics pipeline code.
• Own and improve rendering tools, pipelines, and related engine code.
• Write clear, maintainable, portable C++ code.
• Profile game performance, identify bottlenecks and optimise rendering efficiency.
• Collaborate with other Ubisoft studios, GPU and console vendors.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of at least one graphics API (DirectX 11‑12, Vulkan, OpenGL 4+).
• Understanding of modern rendering techniques and GPU architecture.
• Advanced C++ skills with solid OOP/OOD principles.
• Experience with multithreading, memory management and 3D mathematics.
• Intermediate proficiency in English.
