Senior DevOps Engineer (Alibaba Cloud)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the DevOps team supporting the project, working within an Alibaba Cloud environment. The role focuses on enabling secure, scalable, and reliable platform operations through infrastructure automation, CI/CD, environment management, and operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Write and update reusable IaC in Terraform.
• Administer and optimise Alibaba Cloud services such as Web Apps, Function Compute, KMS, Message Queue and Logic Apps.
• Build and update Alibaba Cloud DevOps pipelines, primarily using YAML.
• Monitor running environments in Alibaba Cloud and make adjustments when needed.
• Manage releases (STG, PRD) and continuously improve the deployment process.
• Contribute to the DevOps Chapter, propose ideas and vote on new changes.
• Troubleshoot issues and assist development teams.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with Alibaba Cloud, Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD using Alibaba Cloud DevOps.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance.
• Familiarity with Terraform and scripting languages.
• Proficiency in English at a B2+ level.
