Head of Product – D2C Subscription Monetisation

About the role

We are looking for a highly systematic Head of Product to own monetisation and retention for one of our core D2C subscription products. You will be fully responsible for growing ARPU, retention and subscription lifetime value, working directly with the Managing Director, engineering and data.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the product roadmap, translating business objectives, user insights and competitor analysis into a clear, prioritised build plan.
• Drive ARPU growth with a target of 15% quarterly improvement through pricing, packaging strategy and structured experiments.
• Own retention targets, reduce churn and build engagement loops to increase product usage and subscription lifetime.
• Partner daily with engineering, write clear product requirements, participate in sprint planning and technical trade‑off decisions.
• Conduct continuous discovery, define product metrics, instrument analytics and turn insights into scoped experiments.
• Own UI/UX across core modules, ensuring a cohesive, high‑converting end‑to‑end journey.
• Collaborate with CRO and marketing on launch planning, onboarding flows and feature‑adoption strategies.

Required profile

• 5+ years product management experience for D2C subscription products, including 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
• Proven track record of growing ARPU and retention with measurable revenue outcomes.
• Strong analytical mindset, breaking ambiguous problems into hypotheses and data‑driven solutions.
• Ownership mentality, bias for action and high standards for UX and outcomes.

Required skills

• Product and financial analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Tableau).
• A/B testing, feature flags and rollout strategy experience.
• Daily use of AI tools such as Claude or equivalents.
• Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads) – a plus.
