Inclusive Psychosocial Support Expert

About the role

NORCAP, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, is seeking an Inclusive Psychosocial Support Expert to help establish a new state institution that will support the national network of Inclusive Resource Centres. The role focuses on strengthening psychological and psychosocial services for children with special educational needs, their families, and education professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead analysis of evidence, needs assessments and project learnings to improve psychosocial support components of Inclusive Resource Centre services.
• Develop and refine methodological approaches, standards, quality criteria and supervision models for psychologists and specialists.
• Create practical tools and guidance materials such as methodological guidelines, referral pathways, case studies and checklists.
• Design and deliver training programmes, learning materials and professional development initiatives for centre specialists.
• Support monitoring, evaluation and learning activities, including quality indicators and analytical reporting.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders, project partners and NORCAP colleagues to provide technical support and knowledge exchange.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or higher) in psychology, education, social work, public administration or related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in mental health, psychosocial support, inclusive education or safe educational environments.
• Proven experience developing analytical, methodological, training or regulatory materials.
• Experience working with children with special educational needs using trauma‑informed, inclusive approaches.
• Fluency in English and Ukrainian.
