Finance Assistant

About the role

The Finance Assistant supports the implementation and smooth functioning of ICMP’s Ukraine Program operations by ensuring high‑quality financial and administrative processes are completed accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, payment requests, reimbursements, billing, and petty cash transactions with complete supporting documentation.
• Handle petty cash operations, reconcile cash logs, and report cash expenditure using the Procurify system.
• Maintain organized financial records, support travel cost verification and purchase order administration via Procurify.
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and ICMP policies.
• Coordinate with finance and procurement colleagues to verify transactions, support financial reporting, and archive records.
• Provide administrative and logistical support to the Ukraine Program, including inventory, office supplies, asset management, travel arrangements, and event coordination.

Required profile

• Diploma in Business Administration, Finance or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum four years of progressively responsible experience in administration, logistics or financial support roles.
• Familiarity with financial and procurement procedures in international organizations.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English and Ukrainian.
• Legal entitlement to work in Ukraine.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience using the Procurify procurement system.
